Buyer questions

What buyers ask first

Range, minimums, certification and custom specification — the six answers most inquiries open with.

What jute products does Janata Sadat manufacture?
Thirty-one catalogue lines across three divisions: yarn — spun yarn, twine, rope, braid, processed fibre and sliver; weaving — hessian, sacking, carpet backing, coffee and cottonseed bags, linoleum and nursery sheet; and felt — needle-punched non-wovens for geo-textile, soil-saver and insulation use.
What is your production capacity?
134,000 metric tonnes a year across ten mills on three sites — Palash in Narsingdi, Boalmari in Faridpur and Debidwar in Cumilla — with spinning, weaving, dyeing and non-woven lines under the same ownership, so a single order can be filled without subcontracting.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Usually one 20-foot container per product, which is roughly 18,000 kg of pressed bales. Fibre and sliver grades start at 10 MT per grade. The fixed minimum is listed on each product page where one applies.
Can you manufacture to our own specification or private label?
Yes. Counter-samples are spun or woven to your count, weight and finish, and the agreed specification is fixed in writing before production. Private-label and own-brand packing are a standing part of the export programme.
Are samples available before we order?
Samples are available on request for every line in the catalogue, and counter-samples are made to your specification where the order calls for one.
Which certifications do your jute products carry?
ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, both for the Palash mills, plus OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (certificate 23.HBD.32195) for 100% jute yarns in product class I — the class that covers baby articles — and Sedex membership for ethical supply-chain audit.
